Account Executive – Embedded AI & Voice Solutions

Sensory is hiring an experienced Account Executive to own and grow strategic accounts across automotive, consumer devices, enterprise OEMs, and other target markets. You will carry a quota, manage full-cycle deals, and help customers deploy on-device AI and speech solutions at scale.

Compensation: Base salary $90,000 – $140,000 per year, depending on experience. 

Sensory is hiring an experienced Account Executive to own and grow strategic accounts across automotive, consumer devices, enterprise OEMs, and other target markets. You will carry a quota, manage full-cycle deals, and help customers deploy on-device AI and speech solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through technical evaluation, proposal development, commercial negotiation, and close for mid-market and enterprise accounts.​
  • Develop and execute account plans for top strategic customers, with a focus on multi-year licensing and volume deals.​
  • Lead discovery and solution design conversations around wake words, speech-to-text, NLU and SLM-powered experiences, and biometrics.  Requires coordinating closely with Field Sales Engineering and Product.
  • Present compelling demos and ROI-driven proposals tailored to verticals like automotive, smart home, hearables, and mobile.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue, maintaining up-to-date records in Zoho CRM system.
  • Represent Sensory at industry events and customer onsite meetings, building senior relationships across product, engineering, and executive teams.
  • Gather customer feedback to influence product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales or partner management experience in software, AI/ML, chipsets, or embedded technologies.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and consistently meeting or exceeding annual quotas.
  • Demonstrated creativity in leveraging AI tools and crafting outbound campaigns, messaging, and prospecting angles, rather than relying on pre-written scripts or heavy hand-holding.
  • Ability to understand technical architectures (on-device vs cloud, wake words + STT + NLU pipelines, LLM/SLM integrations) and work effectively with engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, including the ability to present to VP+ and C-level audiences.
  • Comfortable selling into global accounts and navigating legal, security, and procurement processes.
  • Experience selling into automotive OEMs, tier-1 suppliers, handset/PC OEMs, consumer electronics brands, or potential markets where Sensory can excel.
  • Familiarity with voice UX, wake word selection, and embedded AI deployment constraints (latency, memory footprint, on-device privacy).
  • Willingness and ability to travel for key customer meetings, conferences, and tradeshows a few times per year as needed.
